Tuesday, January 11
OK, its quite a different show at 10:00 in the morning. The sun comes streaming
thru all the triangular glass windows and creates a natural gobo pattern
on the floors. That's great except there is no such thing as a blackout.
Our audience was smaller this morning but that was to be expected.
Kudos to Kevin for his Aussie-centric sound design. We've had several
inquiries about the music selections. Perhaps we should start selling
"Mosaic: The Original Soundtrack".
Today is kind of slow for us. Everyone is off doing their own thing...sightseeing,
shopping, resting. I went to see a beautiful exhibit of Aboriginal
Art at the Ian Potter Gallery this morning after the show. Aboriginal
art is prevalent all over the country. It is colorful and compelling
somehow.
Wednesday, January 12
We had another show this morning at 10:00am. It was a small but appreciative
crowd. We're all doing some shopping today, mostly around Collins Street. Tomorrow
we plan to go to Victoria's Market, which is a huge open-air type market with
hundreds of vendors. Uggs anyone?
Stay tuned...
