Today was a little bit strange. For the most part it was a very quiet day. Most of us hung out at the apartments and generally took it easy. Occasionally, someone would venture out and do a little shopping or go get some food or something. The main focus of our day would start late at night.

We had scheduled our own brush-up rehearsal from 6 - 8pm, then a short dinner break, and call for the theatre was 9:00pm with a 10:00 "go" for our show. We didnt really have any rehearsal space at the theatre so we moved around the furniture in one of the apartments and worked there. We brushed out a few kinks and headed off to the theatre.

Since I am a slow walker, I took off for the theatre in advance of the others who were planning to stop for take-away (carry out) food on the way. When I arrived at the theatre things were quite behind schedule. Once the others arrived, we still had plenty of time before they would be ready for us so we ate out in the courtyard behind the theatre while we waited.

When they were ready for us about 10:00, the cast quickly got into costume, we made some minor lighting adjustments and our dress rehearsal got underway. It was so nice to see the show at night time so that we could see the darkness, the shadows, without all of the natural ambient light pouring in. The show looks very nice in this BMW Edge Theatre. Our first performance will be tomorrow evening at 9:00.
