Quest’s staff, artists, and volunteers conduct workshops, residencies,
and lecture demonstrations at area schools. Quest is particularly
interested in working with students who are experiencing academic difficulties.
Quest’s staff works with teachers, students, administrators, parents,
and others to develop thematic, interdisciplinary arts-based curricular
units. Currently, Quest’s has partnered with Parkdale High
School in Prince George’s County Maryland to develop and implement
an after school arts program. Students and professional artists
work together over a six-week period to produce a culminating performance
or project. The program has been a great success and Quest plans
to expand the program to other schools.
