Week 4

Quest brought the touring production of Wings to WPSD on March 15, 2004. WPSD drama students were given the unique opportunity to spend the entire day with the company. Students began the day by participating in a workshop led by Wings company members. They then observed the technical rehearsal process, and were able to ask questions throughout both about the art itself and the art-making. After a shared lunch, students assisted the company in final preparations before attending the performance and post-show discussion (attended by the WPSD Upper School). The day concluded with a private discussion with the Wings company about the specifics of the production and its development process, where students gained valuable advice and tips for creating their own performance piece.
