Week 4

After reading and discussing the outcomes of last weeks brainstorming activities, students continued to narrow the possible topics for their performance piece. The final two topics for consideration were “The World Today” and “Different.” Students did extensive writing and brainstorming around these two topics before voting on the topic “Different.” Once a topic was chosen, the ensemble was asked to bring in research, photos, images, poems, lyrics, stories, or any other material that might inspire a scene related to the topic of “Different.”
