Week 3

As Week Three began, students continued their exploration of character development—working off of magazine and photo images to create character descriptions. WPSD Drama Teacher, Amy Newland, began to lead students in a series of brainstorming activities to aid them in identifying possible topics for their theatre piece. Using large sheets of poster board, students brainstormed and free wrote around topic starters such as “The world today,” “Things that changed my life,” “I worry about,” etc. The results of this exercise were then compiled in preparation for further topic discussion.
