Quest is proud to participate in this unique collaboration partnering Quest with City Theatre (Pittsburgh, PA), and the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf (WPSD). This eleven-week project focuses on the use of theatre as a tool for learning and discovery across the curriculum. Components of the project include:

• Artists from both Quest and City Theatre will work with a core group of drama students from WPSD as they create and develop an original visual theatre performance to be showcased in May.
• Faculty and Staff from WPSD will participate in professional development workshops addressing the use of theatre across the curriculum, and as a tool for language development.
• Quest will bring the touring production of Wings to WPSD for a student matinee performance. Company members will also conduct a workshop with drama students.
• Quest and City Theatre artists will conduct basic drama and visual theatre workshops with selected WPSD students.

The project utilizes the tools of both visual theatre and playwriting by consensus to explore the power of theatre as both a medium of expression and as a strategy for learning.
